Who loves brunch? 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️Ok so everyone does. I have always been intimidated by brunch/breakfast recipes and I don’t even know why. I have been teaching myself new cooking techniques focusing on brunch recipes lately and wanted to share some of what I have found.
I have always loved poached eggs but for some reason they always seemed like it would be hard to make for myself so I only got them when going out for brunch. So not very often. I looked up various tutorials on how to poach an egg and found this one very helpful. How to poach an egg. It is way easier than I thought and super quick! Who knew!?
Making these Strawberry Cream Cheese rolls are next on my list to try too. These will be so yummy for a summer morning treat!
And last in today’s brunchy post, Acai bowls! Not only are these delicious but they will make great snacks during the hot summer months up ahead. I love adding bananas, strawberries, pineapple, raspberries, granola and chi seeds to my bowl.
I use these Organic Acai Puree Packets from Trader Joe’s to make the base of my Acai bowl.
Oh and don’t forget the mimosas for weekend brunch fun. My favorite is a pomegranate mimosas with pomegranate seed and mint garnish on top. But don’t forget you can use any fun juice to make so many different spring and summer mimosas!
