Learning to garden down here in Florida has been a bit of a challenge. I have had quite a few vegetable garden fails so far and very few successes. I know nothing about growing plants down here in this climate, plus finding the time to work on needy plants is difficult lately. My husband and I are slowly replacing the difficult to keep alive plants with easier to care for plants, at least until I have more time one day. Anndddd I will eventually have some delicious vegetables again!
I love nature and looking at the beautiful plants outside. Jake loves wagon rides through the garden when its not too hot.

^Our amazingly beautiful smelling jasmine vines. I just wish they bloomed all year around!^
^We had some delicious home grown blue berries. We made some tasty blue berry pancakes with these when they ripened.^
^Spanish moss looks cool but is super annoying and smothers trees.^
^Our Koi fish in the pond. Jake loves feeding them. The big one is named Nemo, of course.^
^My little gardener helper. 🙂 I love him so much!^
About two seconds after taking this picture he stuck a handful of grass in his mouth. OH BOY!
We are looking forward to a relaxing and fun Memorial weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Remember to take time from your cookouts and family time to honor all those who have given their lives to protect this wonderful country.
Until next week, XOXO!
