Ball Pit

Last week, I took Jake man to The Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa Florida with his Grandparents and Cousin. He was really too young to enjoy most of the museum, but he and his cousin loved the ball pit they had in one of the exhibits. It gave me an idea that I could make my own. I got a small inflatable pool and 500 balls from amazon.

I originally only ordered 100 balls which to me seemed like it would be enough. Well, that was a total under estimate. They barely covered the bottom of the small pool. Both boys loved it anyway, so I ordered some more of the balls.

Jake really enjoys exploring, feeling and of course sticking all the balls in his mouth. All the colors are great for his sensory exploration and learning. And it’s just super fun!

I got a fitted sheet to put over the pool when we are not using it so a bunch of pollen, leaves, and dirt won’t get in it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend! Until next week, XOXO.
